Sunday Gatherings
Second City doesn’t look like your average church, here’s a couple of fun facts…
We meet on the 9th floor of an office block on Broad Street!
We gather café-style around tables rather than pews!

Getting Here
We meet in Quayside Tower, Broad Street, B1 2HF, just look out for the Second City flag in front of the building!
We’re only a 15min walk from New Street Station and a 25min walk from Aston University and Birmingham City University.

Refreshments
We love a good catch up with a drink and some cake before the gathering, and we’d love to invite you too!
Arrive anytime from 10:15am to enjoy a tea, coffee and some cake, and a chance to get to know us before the gathering starts at 10:30am.

If you can’t make it in person for any reason, we broadcast all our Sunday gatherings live on YouTube.

Gathering

Format
All of our gatherings include prayer, sung worship, the opening of God’s Word and discussion.
Sometimes we’ll also have an opportunity for individuals to share a testimony and we’ll take communion together.

Discussion
One of the things we do that’s a bit different is incorporating discussion into our gathering both before and after the sermon.
The opportunity to discuss is a great chance for us to ask questions, dig deeper into topics, and most importantly apply what we’ve heard to our lives.

Children
If you’ve got children, we offer children’s groups for children aged 0-11 for around 50% of the gathering.
These groups look after your little ones, helping you to focus on what’s being said. If you’re new we’ll ask you to register your child and your contact details on the door.

There’s plenty of time after the gathering to continue discussion. We have more refreshments available to enjoy and we won’t be kicking anyone out for a while, so take the chance to continue your discussions!

Church Lunch
We have a church lunch on the first Sunday of every month, and we’d love for you to stay for it. Just stick around after the gathering to enjoy a chance to talk, get to know each other and enjoy some lunch on us!
